Historical Viking Storys

Rainer W. Grimm was born in 1964 in Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, as the second son in a miner's family. He still lives with his family and two cats in the Ruhr region.
It was not until the age of thirty-five, due to a back injury, that the trained craftsman discovered his love of writing.
Since then, he has been publishing historical stories and novels, most of which are about the Vikings, and crime-storys as an independent author. Previously only in german, he is now also publishing his books in english language.
