شبلي شميل (1850–1917م) طبيب ومفكر لبناني. أدخل نظرية داروين إلى الفكر العربي. كتب مقالات عن العلم والمجتمع. ويُعد من أوائل دعاة الفكر العلمي الحديث في المشرق العربي.
