In this book, a group of scholars in the fields of philosophy, criminology, political science, law, psychology and sociology explore these questions and offer a range of interpretive and normative perspectives on what is at stake in the thorny relationship between hate and liberal democracy. In it, it is revealed that although the war on hate may be honorable and serve good intentions, it is full of contradictions, paradoxes, and unresolved concerns that are open to debate.
