In a strange atmosphere filled with mystery, he seeks to explore the strange world of the train, and at the height of despair the reader tells him what it is. She tells him that it is his story, and he finds himself witnessing an exodus from the south to the north, whose hero is a boy who emerged from a cemetery alive to begin a journey to escape his past. What brings these two strange, distant paths together? This exciting novel raises questions that it answers brilliantly.

إبراهيم فرغلي، من مواليد مدينة المنصورة عام 1967، نشر أولى مجموعاته القصصية "باتجاه المآقي" عام 1997، وتوالت أعماله الروائية والقصصية، "كهف الفراشات" و"ابتسامات القديسين"و"جنية في قارورة"؛ التي اتسمت بالمزج بين الواقع بالغرائبي، في اقتراحات سردية متعددة، لايحسم أمر الواقعية فيها من العجائبية بل يترك للقاريء الاختيار، الذي سيحسمه هذا غالبا لصالح الخيال. فازت روايتان من أعماله بجائزة ساويرس في الرواية وهما: "أبناء الجبلاوي"و"معبد أنامل الحرير". كما وصلت الأخيرة لقائمة البوكر الطويلة، كما كتب عدة روايات للناشئة وصلت بعضها للقائمة الطويلة لجائزة الشيخ زايد. تُرجمت بعض أعماله للغة الإنجليزية، وعدد من قصصه للإنجليزية والإيطالية والألمانية.
