Freedom and the state
About the eBook
What is freedom? This question may seem strange after we have decided that humans are naturally inclined toward it. Yes, we all tend towards it since childhood, but the majority of people hardly know any limit or restriction for it, and most thinkers present their ideas to us in a way that makes you feel that every government, every restriction, or every law means diminishment. From freedom, even Bentham, the great English legislator, said: "The law is a necessary evil." And Jean-Jacques Rousseau said: "Man was created free, but he is subject to shackles and shackles wherever he goes, and while some people think that he is the master of others, when you see him in reality." More slavery", so we must ask: What is freedom?
We decide that it is not about doing what we want, abandoning what we do not want, saying what we like, and refraining from mentioning what we do not want to mention without restriction, nor is it mocking every law, tampering with every system, opposing every authority, and resisting every restriction. Rather, this is chaos, and chaos is the greatest enemy of freedom. Freedom in this social life is the position of every individual to obtain and enjoy his natural and political rights without any restrictions other than refraining from directly preventing others from enjoying those same rights.
