سهير عبد الحميد، كاتبة صحفية وباحثة في التاريخ، وُلدت في القاهرة عام 1975، وتخرجت في كلية الإعلام جامعة القاهرة. نائب رئيس تحرير مجلة "نصف الدنيا" في مؤسسة الأهرام، ولها مقالات في إصدارات مصرية وعربية، عملت مذيعة في راديو الأهرم، ورئيس تحرير البرنامج الإذاعي "من القاهرة "، وحصلت على شهادة تقدير من نقابة الصحفيين عن الحوار الصحفي 2020. صدر لها كتاب "قصور مصر " عام 2020، و"إسكندرية من تاني" عام 2021، ويُعتبر "على عتبة المقام" هو كتابها الثالث.
