شيرين عادل، كاتبة ورحّالة مصرية، من مواليد عام 1982، حصلت على درجة البكالوريوس فى علوم الحاسب من جامعة عين شمس، ثم حصلت على درجة الماجيستير فى إدارة الأعمال، وتعمل كمدير مشروعات فى مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات منذ عام 2005. سافرت إلى العديد من الدول الأوروبية والآسيوية، واحترفت كتابة الرحلات عام 2012 بصدور كتابها الأول "الأولة باريس"، ثم تبعه عدد من المؤلفات منها "الفيروزية" و"هوستيل" و"أساطير السفر السبعة"، ويُعد "رحلة الشاه كابور" كتابها الخامس في أدب الرحلات.
