Ibrahim Abdel -Qader Al -Mazni, a symbol of modern literature, and established the Diwan School alongside Abbas Mahmoud Al -Akkad and Abdel Rahman Shukri, that school that called for modernization of poetry by renewing topics and benefiting from Western literature while looking at the ancient poetic heritage, using psychoanalysis, and transition Towards emotional poetry. The Diwan School led a battle against the classic pattern, represented in the Al -Ihhi and Al -Baath School, which was led by personalities such as Mahmoud Sami Al -Baroudi, Ahmed Shawky, Hafez Ibrahim, Ali Al -Jarim and Ahmed Muharram. She also objected to her commitment to weight and rhyme, the use of heritage language, and the simulation of old methods for purposes and meanings. This book is an embodiment of one aspect of poetic and critical diversity in that era. Although Al -Mazni replied to his translation and writing of articles, stories and novels, he has an important experience in the field of poetry as a pattern and criticism.

إبراهيم عبد القادر المازني, الشاعر والروائي والناقد والكاتب المصري, يتألق كواحد من رواد النهضة الأدبية العربية في العصر الحديث. وُلد في القاهرة عام 1890, وترجع أصوله إلى قرية "كوم مازن" بالمنوفية. بعد تخرجه من مدرسة المعلمين في عام 1909, انخرط في الصحافة, عمل في عدة صحف بارزة, وشارك في تأسيس "مدرسة الديوان" مع عباس العقاد وعبد الرحمن شكري, مقدمة مفاهيم جديدة. كتب الشعر في بداية حياته الأدبية ولكنه اتجه للكتابة النثرية مقدمًا مقالات وقصصًا وروايات. كان ناقدًا متميزًا ومترجمًا بارعًا, وتميز أسلوبه بالسخرية اللاذعة والفكاهة. تأثر بالمدرسة الإنجليزية في الأدب وقراءاته الواسعة في الفلسفة والأدب العربي والإنجليزي أكسبته عمقًا وسلاسة في الكتابة. رحل عنا في أغسطس 1949, تاركًا إرثًا أدبيًا غنيًا ومتنوعًا.
