This research deals with a study of the translation of Ibn al -Sayyid al -Baltiusi, and its achievement. This study came in two parts, the first section shows the contribution of Al -Fath Ibn Khaqan in commemorating the exploits of Andalusians and recording the most wonderful of their wonderful systems, literature and thought, and reveals the motives for composing this translation, its approach, its sources, its topics, and its importance, then the technical and linguistic features of it. The search for Al -Fath Bin Khaqan has revealed his artistic capabilities, his admiration for his compromise, his pride in the literary possibility of his contemporaries and his endeavor to reveal his talent in literary construction, and the capacity of his cultural and linguistic crop. And the research indicated that this translation came a mirror that reflects his cultural personality, his literary taste, and his artistic style, which was characterized by that it combines poetry music, prose eloquence, and the rhetoric of artistic verbal formulation, and the sporting rhetoric with a beautiful rhythm
