About the eBook

Nowadays sustainability is a hot topic. It is therefore all the more surprising that so few people know what sustainability really means and how it can be implemented. The transformation towards a truly sustainable economic system is the only way to tackle and successfully solve today's global challenges. This book explains clearly and to the point what is meant by sustainable development, how disruptive technologies enable the necessary transformation, how all of us can doubly contribute to sustainability through personal development & professional impact.

About the Author

Dr. Dorothea Ernst works with executives and teams, accompanies personal and organisational transformation processes. She is sustainability catalyst at INFORM in Aachen, Germany. She holds a PhD of physics and is a mediator, author and public speaker. For 16 years she has worked at Philips, helping to shape innovation and change processes. Two important stages were the collaboration in the digitisation of the lighting industry, and the introduction of sustainability as an innovative force for the whole of Philips. In both assignments she learned that people and their goals, values and attitudes in combination with smart use of technology are the essential ingredients for innovation and long-term, life-affirming success.
