Mercy is a blade that can cut both ways in this lesbian superhero story. To her family, Mai Redstone is weak. The dead politician turns out to be her uncle, a man who made her childhood a living hell. Caught between giving a medal to the killer and being forced to find the murderer for her family, Mai must make the difficult choice between family loyalty and self-preservation.

Jamaican-born Fiona Zedde currently lives and writes in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the author of several novellas and novels of lesbian love and desire, including the Lambda Literary Award finalists, Bliss and Every Dark Desire. Her novel, Dangerous Pleasures, was winner of the About.com Readers' Choice Award for Best Lesbian Novel or Memoir of 2012.
