About the eBook

23 years ago, I left my homeland, searching for love and a future. The path led me to a foreign world, where I had to learn not only one of the most complex languages, German, but also understand foreign cultures, seasons, ways of communication, and mentalities. This journey changed my life.
Then came the diagnosis: Stage 4A lung cancer - relentless and aggressive. The doctors gave me just six months. But I knew that nothing is impossible if you keep faith and positivity.
I have now been living with my friend cancer for nearly six years. This book is not just my story of survival; it's a testament to the strength and unshakeable belief in the goodness in every trial.
Life is a choice. You are not alone. Believe in yourself, and be certain that there is good in every challenge.
With this book, you accompany me on my personal journey of faith, love, struggle, and hope. Perhaps it will help you on your personal journey, wherever you may be.

About the Author

Ety Priandriani-Fuhrmann is a woman who was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, and is the mother of two independent and cheerful children. She left Indonesia 22 years ago to live in Europe. On 17 October 2017, she was diagnosed with stage 4A lung cancer and has been fighting it tirelessly ever since. Although this time has been very difficult and painful, she believes that every test in life carries goodness and wisdom.

After Brent, a good friend of hers, read her hand, he said, "You are always full of love for yourself and others, but you should be careful not to let others abuse your love."

The experiences in this book led Ety to adopt the life motto of spreading a smile wherever she goes and doing good without expecting anything in return. She believes that by doing so, she will receive kindness back in unexpected ways.
