The concept of the "other" embodies a praiseworthy epistemological concern in many studies that have recently disputed it, because of the epistemological temptations it carries that arouse the curiosity of researchers and readers about this one whom we always call as such, this one who may not mean anything except our own selves. With this continuous dynamic state of change in locations while the characteristic remains; The quality of otherness, which we keep discovering in the horizons and in ourselves, discovering the distribution of our identities among them, and discovering through it what is common and different in the common human faculties, references, and achievements. This book monitors an aspect of the nature of the current state of the contemporary Orientalist study through its relationship with modern Arab literary creativity, in light of the acculturation occurring between Arabic and Western literature as well as criticism, and in light of the many transformations that have occurred in the Orientalist study. The book also presents features about the nature of the relationship between the self and the other, which is reflected through the research and cognitive passion that is still continuing on both sides, indicating that water is still flowing in the river of Orientalist studies that might be thought to be its source. We are exhausted by new discourses that should push us to pursue further with new mechanisms that suit these discourses and dismantle their references, instead of shrinking, accepting them, and being reassured by them.
