Physiognomy among the Arabs is "a science of the natural sciences by which people's inner morals are known by looking at their outer conditions, such as colors, shapes, and organs, or it is the inference of the outer character from the inner character."
The author intended to provide a comprehensive anatomical summary, and dealt with that in the chapter on the physiognomy of temperaments, from the angle and shape of the face and the relation of that to morals. He also dealt with the shape of human organs and their significance for physiognomy in its various forms.. So the book was unique in its topic and the way it was dealt with.
