Musical historical phenomena can be studied in isolation from the development of artistic issues. The author has made an effort to establish fair proportions when classifying musical events, explaining the general reasons for their occurrence, sequentially linking the various artists, and deducing a system of compositions in which they are successive and sequential as far as the limits drawn for this book allow. He also tried, on the other hand, to place the multi-genre musical heritage in its eras and the areas from which it arose and spread, in addition to studying it in terms of the artistic, literary, religious, or political currents that surrounded it.
Music, as one of the natural means of expression in society, does not make sense for it to be about two hundred years behind all other means of expression - it is a clear mirror of the traditions and morals prevailing in the life of the ages, and therefore it is in close contact with other arts.
