This is a group of letters written as a result of readings or observations, and the special thinking they provoked. It was arranged in an order in which the letters on one topic were organized, one after the other. I began with criticism and what the author wrote about Anatole France on politics, on independence, and on travel. Then these were followed by several letters on Qasim Amin, followed by several letters on books published by Jurji Zaydan, Mustafa Sadiq al-Rafi'i, Dr. Taha Hussein, Muhammad al-Sibai, and other men of the pen. This is the first book of the collection.
As for the second book, it contains letters specific to Egypt. Such as the letters of Biban al-Muluk and the summary of Mr. Carter's book about the tomb of Tutankhamun. It also contains stories and hadiths from Kabis, Semiramis, Khalid, and others. As for the third book, it contains separate messages.
