There is no doubt that Islamic art abandoned its submission to the prohibition of photography in two great fields of artistic genius, which are sculpture and photographing artistic paintings as we know them in European arts and the arts of the Far East. Photography, which flourished in Iran, Turkey, and India, was more often than not restricted to illustrating and decorating books, whether in scientific books or books of history and literature, as well as mosques, shrines, and religious buildings in general.
Artists devoted themselves to the art of decoration, as there are no pictures or statues to be used to clarify the history of the call, explain religious beliefs, and the biography of heroes, as in other religions.
