In a miserable attempt, a retired officer seeks to retire from the world of crime once and for all and start a new, quieter life. He moves to live in another house, gets rid of his old phone number, and thinks that his life has become more stable, until mysterious messages come to his new number, followed by a murder that raises a storm of questions and turns his life upside down.
