Faith... Egyptian Historical Play
About the eBook
One day, it became clear to the author of this play, Eugene Prio, what he had seen in one of the temples, where he found the worshipers standing and praying to the statue of their idol, asking him to fulfill their needs. Among them were sick, disabled, and miserable people whose hopes were attached to their Lord in such an attachment that their happiness connected to him. His soul was affected, and it came to his mind that if he were able to guide this crowd to the falsehood of what they believe, and to the fact that their idol does not listen or understand why an act; Out of concern for this hope to disappear, and this noble imagination to dissipate, then it occurred to him to write a novel on this topic, so he chose Pharaonic Egypt for it, because its ancient inhabitants were famous for adhering to their beliefs, sanctifying their deities, and pinning their hopes on another life with reward and punishment.
