The revolutions carried out by free people did not end, for they rose to achieve the principles of freedom, justice, and honor. They snatched these principles from kings, tyrants, and advocates of darkness, and defeated and destroyed them. But when they were destroyed, others appeared, and they almost acceded to these principles and falsified or abolished them. Therefore, we still find tyrants and advocates of darkness controlling and boasting, plotting for honor with the meanness in their hearts, and fighting love with the hatred that suffuses their souls.
Freedom, honour, love, and justice are not dead and stagnant principles, as they are principles of renewed struggle that need constant protection and successive resurrection in order to spread to humanity and to educate man to be humane.
