Not many years had passed since the conquered East was fascinated by the manifestations of power in modern European civilization, until the call to revive the ancient heritage and return the trust to its people was heard in Egypt and in the Arab world before it was too late. Because the modern civilization of the Europeans is bare and borrowed from this Arab East. They took it and built their structure on its foundation, which is more worthy of us and we are more worthy of it than to leave it to the colonialists intruding on it, and it is not difficult for us to establish our new building on our old foundation.
That is why the shock was a shock of revival of the ancient heritage, and in the most severe days of weakness and imitation it was not a shock of surrender and annihilation.
