This is a small book, but full of information about the history of Egypt. Introducing the people of the Nile to something of what they suffered during ancient times from the events of time, and the costs of rule that came in successive forms after the fall of the state of the Pharaohs, and the entry of Egypt into the role of European colonialism. It remained camped on the banks of the Nile for about a thousand years before the Arab conquest.
