If the title of this book is (The Storyteller Grandmother), it was of course intended to symbolize the return of the role of family members to caring for the child's culture at home... and not necessarily the literal meaning of the title... even though the grandmother - throughout ancient and modern history - is the closest to her grandchildren in reaching their minds...
Childhood is the first stage for adults to hear appropriate stories. The generations before us enjoyed the old grandmother's stories, which carry imagination, jinn, magic, and play. The child may even ask the grandmother to repeat to him what she told him yesterday, so that he can relive the events of the story and her sweet imagination.
In light of these facts, we explore the relationship of the family with its children in ancient civilizations and the Arab civilization, and we monitor this relationship in its cultural aspect, especially the story that the child listens to and enjoys.
