We see in "The Article" that it should be "a draft book on its subject for those who have enough time for a summary but not for detail. Every article on a subject is a small book containing the nucleus from which the tree grows for those who wish to wait."
We have envisaged this plan in the articles of this book, and made them like the articles "Chapters," "Readings," "Reviews," and "Hours Between Books," in terms of subject matter, space, and style of treatment, but the articles of this book do not fall under any of those titles; Because they were mostly answers to specific questions directed by readers to the author of the book, they differed from them on occasion even if they agreed with them in their subject and plan, and they preferred the general aspects over the personal aspects.
