A century ago, a great deal of activity arose in Europe and America that dealt with the study of the human race as a subject in its own right. This study was called "anthropology," that is, the science of man. Most of the interest among anthropologists was at first focused on studying humans from a purely biological standpoint, but soon the The subject has many faces, which has led to the expansion of the field and the diversification of research methods to a great degree, until familiarity with the requirements of all branches of anthropology has become beyond individual capacity. This has led to the division of the study of man into two basic parts.
First: "Physical Anthropology," which deals with the study of humans from an anatomical and biological perspective.
Second: "Cultural or civilizational anthropology," which deals with the path of mental production of science, art, philosophy, industry, agriculture, trade, systems of government, and religious beliefs.
