This book provides a quick review of the history of archaeology and the results reached by excavators and archaeologists in the modern era. However, the author only presents in this research what he uncovered of the antiquities of ancient nations that had an impact on Western civilization, and thus he left aside great traces of Eastern nations, and traces of the peoples who inhabited the new world.
