This is a book on "botany" intended to familiarize them with a general culture of science, including botany. The book began with the subject of plants, and included several examples of seeds that are easy for every reader to obtain and see the stages of their germination. He followed suit in the rest of the book, mentioning examples for each case he cited so that scientific theories would be relevant to the individual's general life. As for the practical aspect, he cited a lot. Simple experiments, especially with regard to the functions of plant organs, so that the interested person can carry out the experiments on his own once he follows the steps of working in them.
The authors took care that the diagrams were clear to make it easy to understand their parts. They also included some pictures to be closer to nature.
