(1970-...) دانيال هاندلر روائي أمريكي نشر العديد من كتب الأطفال تحت اسم مستعار (ليموني سنيكت)، أبرزها سلسلة "أحداث مُؤسِفة" المكونَّة من 13 كتابًا، والتي بيع منها أكثر من 60 مليون نسخة، وأُنتج منها فيلم عام 2004، ومسلسل تلفزيوني عُرض بين عامَيْ 2017 و2019. بدأ مركز المحروسة في إصدارها عام 2019. لعب ليموني سنيكت أيضًا كشخصية في هذه السلسلة، بالإضافة إلى كونه الشخصيَّة الرئيسية في سلسلة "كل الأسئلة الخاطئة".
