The Speech of Sweden or The Artist and His Time by Albert Camus deals with the impact of art on society and the role of the artist in confronting social and political challenges. ألبير كامو هو كاتب وفيلسوف فرنسي وُلِد في الجزائر عام 1913. يُعتبر من أبرز المفكرين في القرن العشرين، حيث تميزت أعماله بالتعبير عن القضايا الإنسانية والفلسفية. تأثرت أفكاره بالظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية التي عاشها، مما دفعه للدفاع عن حقوق الجزائريين والمساواة. حاز على جائزة نوبل في الأدب عام 1957، ويُعرف بأعماله الرائدة مثل "الغريب"، "الطاعون"، و"أسطورة سيزيف". تُوفي عام 1960 في حادث سيارة، تاركًا إرثًا أدبيًا وفلسفيًا عميقًا.
