Poetry depends solely on its energy, not on craftsmanship, tinsel, or music, and it is proof of the validity of what we have called for in the past about the sufficiency of the Arabic language to serve abstract poetry, just as it is sufficient to serve poetry that is wrapped in attractive costumes of music, colors, lights, and shadows. Poetry is poetry in any language with its feelings. And its tremors, flashes, and fantasies, and its eternal truths and ideals.
If we appreciate the colors of this poetry, which are abstract, abstract, free, symbolic, surreal, and the like, this does not mean that we belittle other types of poetry, or call for their neglect, as some writers call for who do not appreciate that the wealth of any language is the sum of its literature, and that All goodness is in its diversity, not in its limitation. The doctrine of restriction is anti-freedom, while freedom is a friend of literature and the arts, and even of knowledge in general, so dictating to poets and controlling them is first the killing of their talents, then the killing of poetry and its capabilities, then the impoverishment of the language and its literature.
