Dr. Walther Friesen was born after WWII in the concentration camp for Russia-Germans Zeche (coal mine) Nr. 6, Tula Oblast. He is a specialist in Eastern and Oriental Studies, takes an active part in the movement for the rights of Russia-Germans.
