The novel by I. S. Turgenev (1818-1883) "fathers and Sons" became the cult one in its time, and its main protagonist Yevgeny Bazarov was an example for imitation for many people. The action of the novel takes place in 1859, not long before the reform of the 1861. Bazarov in many aspects became the realization of the author's ideals, notion of a new person - purposeful, unblinkered, practical and reasonable.
