The Eustace Diamonds is a novel by Anthony Trollope, the third of the "Palliser" series of novels. It tells about the adventures of a wealthy widow Lizzie Greystock, who spends most of her life fortune-hunting and lying to her prosperous suitors in a search for a new rich marriage, until one day, all the net of lies and false claims get discovered by a headstrong police officer.
